Add and manage program resources
The Resource Library gives your program a place to share reference materials, such as maps, training expectations, instructions, and welcome documents. Administrators manage the resources and choose who can see them.
Open resource settings
- Open Admin → Training Programs.
- Select the correct program’s name or Settings.
- Open the Resources tab.
You can organize resources into categories to make a larger library easier to browse. Categories are optional.
Add a resource
- Choose the option to add a resource.
- Enter a clear title and description.
- Select a category if you are using categories.
- Add the reference document using the file controls provided.
- Choose the resource’s visibility and active status.
- Set whether the resource should be included in trainee exports.
- Save the resource.
Choose who can see the resource
Use the available visibility setting to select the intended audience. A staff-only resource is not shown to trainees. An administrator-only resource is limited to administrators.
After saving, review Resources → Resource Library from a user account with the intended access to confirm that the resource appears as expected.
Include reference materials in trainee exports
Resource visibility and export inclusion are separate settings. Review the export option for materials that should accompany a trainee’s archived training file.
Generate and inspect a practice trainee export to confirm that the reference materials your agency needs are included. A document appearing in the Resource Library does not by itself confirm that it is included in an export.
Maintain the library
Return to the program’s Resources settings to update titles, descriptions, categories, visibility, or active status. Review library materials when your agency changes its training procedures.
A resource is missing
Check the selected program, the resource’s active status, and its visibility setting. If it is missing from an archive, also check its export-inclusion setting and review a newly generated export.
