Complete and acknowledge checklist items
Checklists help your agency document tasks such as issuing equipment, reviewing procedures, or completing first-day requirements. Your agency chooses the checklist items, completion columns, and sign-off requirements.
Open a checklist
- Staff: confirm the correct active trainee on Dashboard.
- Open Checklists in the navigation bar.
- Select the checklist you need to work on.
- Review the items and completion columns before recording any work.
Trainees review the checklists available for their own training.
Record a completed task
- Find the item you completed.
- Select the checkbox for the step that actually occurred.
- Check that the item now displays the recorded check-off.
- If another step or sign-off is required, leave it for the person responsible for that action.
For example, a checklist may have an Issued column for staff and a separate receipt or acknowledgment step for the trainee. Another checklist may use a single Approved column. Follow your checklist’s labels and your agency’s procedures.
Acknowledge an item as a trainee
When an item requires your acknowledgment, review what was issued, explained, or completed. Use the available sign-off control when you are ready to acknowledge it.
If the page requires a saved signature, create it under My Profile and return to the checklist.
Supervisor approval
Some items require supervisor approval in addition to staff completion or trainee acknowledgment. An authorized supervisor reviews the item and uses its approval control.
An item may remain pending until all required actions are complete. A staff check-off alone does not necessarily finish the item.
Correct a mistake or resolve a pending item
If an item was checked by mistake, use a correction control only if it is available to your role. Ask your supervisor or administrator for help if you cannot correct it.
If an item remains pending, check whether it still needs another completion step, trainee acknowledgment, or supervisor approval. Your administrator can confirm the checklist’s requirements.
