Working with checklists
Who this is for
FTOs, supervisors, program admins, and trainees. Staff must select an active trainee on Dashboard first.
Open a checklist
Staff: Dashboard → Active trainee → Checklists → Open.
Trainee: Checklists → My checklists.
Status on the index
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not started | No items marked |
| In progress | Some lines started |
| Awaiting trainee | Trainee sign-off needed |
| Complete | All lines closed |
Progress: {closed} / {total} lines closed.
The matrix
Rows = checklist items grouped by category. Columns = completion options (e.g. Explained, Performed, Approved).
- Green row — complete
- Yellow row — awaiting trainee acknowledgment
Marking items (staff)
Usually sequential — only the next column is active. Skipping ahead shows: Choose the next option in order.
Remove your last mark: × → Remove check-off. You cannot remove another person's mark.
Comment icon — type a comment; auto-saves when you leave the field. Trainees see comments read-only.
Trainee sign-off
When an item requires signature:
- Staff finish staff-side columns.
- Row turns yellow — Your sign-off required (trainee) or Trainee sign-off (staff).
- Trainee checks Acknowledge this item (signature required on My Profile).
Supervisor sign-off is a completion column (e.g. Approved), not a separate approval button like objectives.
